With summer almost upon us, now is a great time to change out the filters in your vehicle. There are three main filters in your car, truck or SUV that need be changed regularly to ensure your vehicle is performing properly: oil filter, engine air filter and cabin air filter. If it's been a while since your filters were last changed, we invite you to join us in our Snowflake service center to get them changed out in the quickest and most convenient manner possible.

Engine Air Filter

Your engine air filter is responsible from keeping dirt, dust, pollen, debris, and everything else on the road or in the air from entering your vehicle's engine. The air filter allows the engine to perform at the highest level by keeping it clean. The suggested mileage interval for replacing an engine air filter is any time around 15,000 miles, or just depending on how dirty it is. On most vehicles, you can access the air filter rather easily to check how dirty it is. We suggest having it checked out every time you bring your vehicle in for maintenance.

Cabin Air Filter

The cabin air filter is just like the engine air filter, but it protects your cabin and you from inhaling dirty, polluted air. The cabin air filter catches and cleans the air coming through your heating or cooling system, so you can breather fresh, clean air wherever you go. Like the engine air filter, it's a good idea to change your cabin air filter every 15,000 miles of so.

Oil Filter

The oil filter is responsible for catching and filtering out the dirt and debris that gets caught in your motor oil. The oil filter keeps your motor oil clean and performing the way it's supposed to. Your oil filter should be changed every time your oil is changed, typically around 5,000 miles of travel.
